On Wednesday, September 24, 2014, from 12 noon - 1 pm ET, the Global Health Knowledge Collaborative sponsored a webinar that explored Low-Tech Solutions for Knowledge Management.
Sarah Ndinya, Communications and Knowledge Exchange Associate at Management Sciences for Health- Kenya, looked at creating a virtual community of practice to enhance knowledge sharing in leadership, management and governance in a low tech context.
Sarah Ndinya is an instructional technologist. eLearning content developer, website content manager, strategist and communications professional with several years of experience in the education and not-for-profit sector. She presently works as a Communications and Knowledge Exchange Associate for the Leadership Managment and Sustainability Project, Kenya implemented by Management Sciences for Health.
Luis Ortiz Echevarria, Knowledge Management and Learning Consultant for International Medical Corps, discussed results from the International Medical Corps internal survey and interviews with staff on low-tech solutions to Knowledge Management.
Luis Ortiz Echevarria has over eight years of experience in knowledge management and technical support in sexual and reproductive health, youth and adolescent health, monitoring and evaluation, gender and behavioral health. He has previously worked for CARE USA, CARE International au Rwanda, JHU-Center for Communications Programs, University Research Co., LLC, and in USAID’s Global Health Fellows Program. In-country experience in Honduras, Kenya, Russia, and Rwanda. He received an MPH from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and has a MA in Anthropology from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.
